Feb 19, 2008 Annual Conference Proves Big SuccessLEADERSHIP CONFERENCE A HUGE SUCCESS Two weeks ago a large contingency of DWG distributors made their way to Las Vegas, Nevada for the Annual Leadership Conference. Once again this two day event was hosted by The Orleans Hotel & Casino and proved itself to be a roaring success. Co-hosted by President Michael Yanke and special guest Speaker and DWG Director, Ron Marks the event wasted no time in showing why DWG International™ is number one in the market and will remain there. C.E.O., Rod Yanke introduced the brand new ULTRA-ION™ GREEN All-Purpose Cleaner Super Concentrate featuring exclusive PolyGuard-8™. This non-toxic and totally biodegradable product and DWG’s first foray into the totally “GREEN” market was received with a standing ovation by one and all and the distributors could hardly wait to make their way to the sales tables to get their orders placed for this exciting product. Immediately following the first break, President of DreamBuilders, Bryan Thayer took the stage and introduced the brand new “Driven to Succeed” journal as DWG’s newest recruiting and selling tool. The ultimate in a “hand-out” recruiting tool this news-style journal focuses exclusively on the DRI WASH ‘n GUARD® products and the DWG opportunity. Within 2 hours of its introduction all 10,000 copies at the conference were sold out!! One of the other highlights of the first day’s events was the presentation and introduction of DWG’s newest members of the Certified Leadership Team, Keith & Diana Welker. Those of you who have been with DWG International™ for a while have probably heard Keith sending messages across the airwaves and who is one of the most unselfish individuals you will ever meet…with his motto being a simple, HELP EVERYONE! Soon everyone was on their way back to their rooms to prepare for the evening Awards Banquet, again hosted by President Michael Yanke. After a few cocktails and a very special dinner Michael began presenting awards to those deserving distributors that had achieved special recognition throughout the year including long time Director and this year’s recipient of the prestigious Joe Hershey Award, Laurie Pollok. Led by Glen “Zoomer” Azumi, distributor after distributor proceeded up on stage to show why they should be the next “American Idol”. Timothy & Wendi O’Brien, Rob Gerlock, Mike & Kathy Sonzini, Kingsley Nuuhiwa, Garret Ho, Joe Egge, Keith Welker and many others took their turn in front of the crowd while singing their favorites. It truly proved to be great fun for all of the participants as well as the audience members that were brave enough to last through the night!! Up and early Saturday morning and Glen Azumi led off a short training session beginning at 8:00am sharp. Then during the course of the morning many distributors took their turn up on stage relaying valuable information to all the attendees. Amongst others were Pat Stafford, Rolinda Harris and Guy Keast. Immediately following lunch the training picked up by the Certified Leadership Team as well as new member Keith Welker and Divisional Director, Joe Egge. Many drawings were held during the course of the two day event and everyone really seemed to like the idea of being trained by their own distributors who are actually working the ideas presented to them…again, another great learning experience that will be revisited. As we close the door on another successful conference we want to thank all of the distributors that took time out of their busy schedules and invested their hard earned dollars to join us in Las Vegas…we wish you all a very successful 2008. We also would like to take this time to invite everyone back next year where things will only get better for 2009!! |
