DWG Conference Check List

2008 DWG INTERNATIONAL™
LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
CHECK LIST!!

In a little over two weeks from now DWG distributors from all over North America will be converging on Las Vegas, Nevada for the 8th annual DWG Leadership Conference. The event that is being held at the Orleans Hotel & Casino again is, for some distributors, the highlight of the year! It gives everyone a chance to take the time to not only take a great vacation in fabulous Las Vegas AND write it off as a business expense, but to meet and greet other distributors that will be in attendance.

To help you prepare and get the most out of your experience here in Las Vegas you will find a “Leadership Conference Check List” that was originally prepared by Divisional Coordinator Team Member, Keith Welker from Southern California. Please make a copy of this and bring it with you when you come so that you have a reminder of specific things to do.

1. Attend all the sessions that are held and be prepared to take copious notes regarding many different topics.
2. Stay for the entire conference. You never know what good information you might miss by arriving late or leaving early.
3. Stay at the conference’s designated hotel. (The Orleans Hotel & Casino…800-675-3267) You need to be where you can enlarge your network most effectively.
4. When you attend conference parties, realize that your upline and downline might observe your behavior. You are not really “off duty”.
5. Take plenty of business cards to help new acquaintances remember you.
6. Collect as many business cards as you can, so you can stay in touch with post cards, E-mails, and phone calls.
7. Buy as much product as you can at the Conference. There are always specials that will save you money. There are usually raffles for gifts and the amount of product you purchase equals how many raffle tickets you will receive.
8. When you find out the conference specials get on the phone with those downline members that could not attend to see if you can make some purchases for them and save them some money. Doing this saves them money but you get the raffle tickets for the drawings…two-fold purpose.
9. Be an active participant by asking questions and making comments during the open panel discussion segments. (In fact take the time BEFORE you come to prepare questions that you would like answered during this training period) The topics will take on a new life for you.
10. Finally when everything is finished take the time to complete the Conference critique sheet so that DWG corporate knows what you liked and what you didn’t which will allow us to constantly improve this event.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible out here and hope that you will have time to enjoy the city while you are here. For those of you that are still thinking about attending there is still plenty of time to register. Simply contact Distributor Services at (702) 262-5555 and register to attend.
